Advisory: Water Main Break Congress Street Bridge Closed

TROY, N.Y. – A large water main break in South Troy has caused service interruption throughout Downtown Troy and has resulted in the temporary closure of the Congress Street Bridge. The break occurred at approximately 4 p.m. in the area of Front and Congress Street and crews are on site. The extent of the water service interruption and timing for reopening of the bridge are not known at this time. More information will follow.
