UPDATE: Congress St. Bridge Reopen; Work on water main continues

ADVISORY UPDATE

TROY, N.Y. – The Congress Street Bridge has reopened to traffic. Front Street remains closed to traffic until further notice. A large water main break in South Troy caused flooding in the immediate area and service issues. Many homes and businesses in the area of Front and Congress streets have experienced low pressure or an interruption in water service.

The break occurred at approximately 4 p.m. in the area of Front and Congress Street. Crews are on site. The extent of the water service interruption in Downtown and time frame for restoring the area to full service is unknown at this time. More information will follow.
