Earth Day informational meeting set for April 2

The City of Troy will hold an informational meeting to provide details on the logistics for this year’s Earth Day Cleanup. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 2 at 6:30 p.m. in Conference Room A in City Hall.

“Over the years Earth Day has grown into a wonderful tradition where residents actively engage in making hands-on improvements to their neighborhoods. I’m hopeful that even more individuals will come out and join our cleanup efforts this year,” Mayor Lou Rosamilia said. “I encourage members of the public to attend our informational meeting on April 2, to become familiar with plans, schedules and services so that we can all enjoy a productive and successful Earth Day.”

Conference Room A is located on the second floor of City Hall, at 1776 Sixth Avenue. The City’s Earth Day Cleanup will be held on Saturday, April 21.
