Outspoken Media, Inc. an online Internet marketing company that specializes in search engine optimization, online reputation management, social media marketing and link development seeks qualified candidates to fill an entry-level position in historic, downtown Troy, NY. Candidates must have experience with social media marketing, website development, Excel and Word, and excellent writing and creative thinking skills. Candidates with a working knowledge of HTML, some web design and familiarity with at least three social networks are strongly preferred. Job duties will include the creation and management of social profiles, link development, blogger outreach, content creation, database management, and website and social media analytics.
There are no formal education requirements. However, when job candidates submit a resume, you must include three samples of social media profiles you have created for yourself or an organization/company or you will be disqualified. Candidates also MUST write well, self-motivate and fulfill ALL of the required skills.
This is a full-time contract position with room to grow and candidates will be expected to work from an office at least 40 hours per week from 8am-5pm. Salary range based on experience, but keep in mind that we are looking for an entry-level marketer (approximately $25,000 - $30,000).
