Now in it’s 11th year, Collar City
Live returns with one of its strongest lineups in recent
memory.
Set at beautiful Riverfront Park along
the historic Hudson River, this event promises to delight
the old
and young with its diverse schedule. This year, Collar
City will add food and ice cream vendors to the event.
So
bring a lawn chair, kick back and Enjoy Troy this
summer.
Directions: At Exit 8 on I-787, follow
signs to Green Island. At next light, take right across
Green Island Bridge to Troy. At end of bridge, take
right around curved roadway. Riverfront Park is on
right. Parking on left in parking garage or on Front
Street (on right before traffic lights). Rain Site:

July 13 - Storm Front - Billy Joel Tribute
Storm Front was a new band hitting New York
in the summer of 2007. The band consists of six
Fabulous musicians who grew up loving and playing
the music of Billy Joel. Based out of Albany,
these talented musicians are no strangers to
the Northeast's music scene. They=ve all played
(and still do) in some of the area's most successful
bands. Their experience accompanied with powerful
renditions of Joel=s songs will leave any Billy
fan screaming for more!
July 20 - The Greyhounds
A Poughkeepsie based
authentic roots/rock-n-roll band fronted by WVKR
DJ AVince Vincent@. Not
only are they all accomplished musicians, they
love what they=re doing which gives their music
an energy and exuberance you=ll savor!

The Reverberators
The Reverberators is a rock >n
roll dance band formed in 2002 by Marty McDermott
and Tom
Holland. Known for their carefully arranged vocal
harmonies, the group performs a varied mix of
rock 'n roll juke box standards from the 50's
through present day. Blues, ballads, rockabilly
and a repertoire of original material round out
their performances.
Aug 3 - Johnny Rabb & The Jailhouse
Rockers
Albany's
own King of Rock and Roll, Johnny Rabb is one
of the Capital Regions most respected
and well loved musicians. Rabb is in a league
all his own, a world class entertainer and showman
who sings from the gut with his own brand of
roots, rock, rockabilly, and plenty of Elvis.

They promise to deliver
you a wide variety of music ranging from R&B
legends such as Aretha Franklin, Van Morrison
and James Brown, classic
rock icons such as The Beatles, AC/DC and The
Rolling Stones all the way up to contemporary
greats like Black Eyed Peas, No Doubt, Shania
Twain, Bon Jovi and Amy Winehouse!!

an opportunity to provide a FUNcton for the whole
family! A family event where EVERYONE can participate.
Paul teaches new dances and singing that give
everyone something to do at home. Seldom do we
find someone who combines a talent for performing
and teaching with an interest in historic dance
and music, and keeps a sense of humor

together with members of Sensemaya, encourages
audience
members to work hands on with rhythms on various
percussion instruments.
July 30 - The Emeralds of July
The Emeralds
of July are a talented and energetic young bunch
armed with a blend of popular tunes
for audiences of all ages.
Aug. 6 - Tales ‘n
Tunes
Tales ‘n Tunes perform stories, primarily
from the folk tradition, with original songs
incorporated in them to allow for audience participation;
and they feature songs between stories. They
are high energy performers and the imaginations
of children and adults are sparked by the tellings.

Everyone will
enjoy these sing-along tunes for the whole family.

20 - Stuck On Stupid
Formed in 2006 these three
talented musicians have had an exciting time
entertaining fans around
the Albany area. Don’t let their ages fool
you, these kids can “Play”. Starting
with their two performances on CBS’ Early
Show, (Dec. ‘06 & July ‘07),
Stuck on Stupid has been working hard on building
their resume.
