Construction Advisory: Sidewalk & Curb Replacement Continues in S. Central/Little Italy Neighborhood

Construction Advisory

TROY, N.Y. – The City of Troy announced the continuation of of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) South Central/Little Italy Neighborhood Sidewalk and Curb replacement project through the month of October. Residents and commuters are encouraged to note street closures and constructions zones related to this work.

WHAT:                 Sidewalk and Curb Replacement
                                Division Street from 4th St to Church St Alley will be closed Monday, September 25, 2023, from 6am to 6pm for project-related tree removal work.


WHERE:               Division Street from 4th St to Church St Alley
                                  Troy's South Central and Little Italy Neighborhoods

WHEN:                 Construction activities started in July and will continue through the end of October 2023

The work is part of a federally-funded CDBG project to improve the quality of life and mobility of Troy residents and families living in this South Central and Little Italy Neighborhoods.  This project continues the work already completed last year in South Troy, along 4th Street (Adams St. to Division Street.)

Motorists are asked to slow down in the construction zones, observe all posted traffic restrictions, and watch for flaggers and equipment operating in the street right-of-way areas.
