Water Main Break May Disrupt Service in Eastside Neighborhood, Wynantskill

TROY, N.Y. – The City of Troy is responding to a water main break that is affecting water pressure in certain parts of Troy's Eastside Neighborhood and Wynantskill. The Department of Public Utilities, Department of Public Works, and other City departments are actively responding, and information will be shared as it becomes available.

As DPU works to restore service, residents may experience service interruptions, including sputtering water, loss of water, loss of water pressure, discolored water, or more.

At present, a boil water advisory has not been issued.

Residents looking for more information may contact the City of Troy Department of Public Utilities at (518) 237-0241, or after hours at (518) 237-0611.

Motorists are encouraged to mind posted parking restrictions and take care in construction zones. Temporary road closures are possible during daytime work.
