Pay Parking Ticket
Pay Online
Any processing fees associated with online payments are not received by the City, and are charged by the third-party vendor providing the service. See our pay online page for questions and help.
You will need your license plate number and Parking Ticket number in order to pay online.
Pay In Person
Parking tickets can be paid in person at the Treasurer's Office in Troy City Hall at 433 River St. Troy NY 12180 during regular business hours Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The office is not open on these holidays
The Treasurer's Office accepts cash, check, or money order as payment. For parking tickets only the Treasure's Office also takes Master Card, Visa, American Express, or a Discover Card for payment.

Protest Parking Ticket
Protest Ticket Online
To protest your ticket online you will need your license plate number and parking ticket number in order to dispute the ticket online.
Protest Ticket In Person
Parking tickets can be protested every Tuesday morning of each month at Troy City Hall between 8:45 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. in Troy City Hall.

Holiday Schedule
If protest day falls on a major holiday the City may designate another day during the week. Please call the Treasures office at 518-279-7115 to confirm if another day has been scheduled.
Do The Following
If you wish to protest a parking ticket in person you may do so in the following manner:
- The individual who received the parking ticket must appear at Troy City Hall on Tuesday morning between 8:45 am and 10:15 am,
- The individual who received the ticket must have a copy of the ticket with them when they appear. If you do not have a copy of your ticket, you can request a copy from the Treasurer's Office window upon arriving at City Hall. You must have a copy of the parking ticket in hand prior to meeting with the City Attorney.
- When you arrive at City hall to protest your parking ticket, you must sign in to the parking ticket protest log.
- You will be called to conference the matter with the City Attorney.
