attention:  |  Effective 09/02/2021, Senate Bill S50001/Assembly Bill A40001 were signed by the Governor. This law revises New York State’s Open Meeting Law to allow for virtual/hybrid meetings. The City of Troy's Planning Board will continue in person meetings, however members of the public may attend virtually. Public comment will be accepted via Zoom.

The Planning Board strives to promote excellence of site design so as to improve the attractiveness of our communities, minimize negative influences of discomplementary uses, protects the natural environment, minimize traffic conflicts and congestion and to protect the public health, safety and welfare.

Applications & Forms

Applications are due at least twenty-one (21) calendar days prior to the hearing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be added to the agenda. PLEASE BE ADVISED:THIS DOES NOT GUARANTEE PLACEMENT ON THE FOLLOWING MONTH’S AGENDA.

Applicants are to provide up to 15 copies of their site plan for review. *5 copies if digitally provisioned with a USB data storage device. Applicants are required to submit all necessary copies for review of their proposal. Copies will not be made by staff.

Fees

Meeting Schedule

Regular meetings for the City of Troy's Planning Board are currently held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm. Please check back for any updates or changes to meeting schedule.

Meeting dates are subject to change.  Special Meetings will be listed below the regular meetings when held.
